Welcome..

Welp, it finally happened. After days, months, and to be honest even years I finally decided to jump. I’m starting a blog. Don’t you all freak out at once. 🙂

While I’ve always been intrigued to start one, I never felt like I had a purpose for it. I mean what would I write about. Books? Parks and Rec? Then 2017 happened. 2017: the year God gave us incredible experiences and the devil gave us rock bottom lows.

You see, I ended 2017 looking around with people living their life, but complaining about silly things that didn’t matter. I saw people scared to take a step toward a better life for fear of the unknown. I saw people running through the motions and calling it a life and I got angry. Angry that God gave us this incredible journey to experience and we are more concerned about what’s on Netflix or the latest gossip.

While I know I’m not perfect at living life, that was Jesus, from now on I’m going to at least strive for it. I’m ready to live life to the fullest. I’m ready to start crushing goals even if it scares me. I’m ready to take the family vacations I’ve been missing even if it means calling in sick to work. I’m ready to just start living life, instead of waiting for the perfect moment to start. I’m ready to enjoy the small things and actually experience the big things in life. I’m ready to live life imperfectly perfect. I pray you join me.
