Welcome, Friend!

I’m Faith, a silent-laughing mom of two babies under three.

After admitting I had PPD, I  looked around and realized God gave us an incredible life and we might as well go live it to the fullest; imperfections and all.

This blog is all about living life, experiencing motherhood, and loving your imperfections, while thanking God throughout the entire journey.

Here you’ll find encouragement on mental health issues such as: Postpartum Depression and Anxiety, Overwhelm, Shame, and Mom Guilt.

Mama, you are never alone.

There’s always a moment in the morning where every There’s always a moment in the morning where everything is loud before I even fully wake up.

Someone’s crying, someone needs something, and my coffee is already cold.

In this, I used to think I needed a quieter life to be a faithful one.

But now I just pray in the middle of it.
Not polished prayers. Not long ones.
Just honest ones.

“God, help me be patient today.”
“God, meet me right here in this mess.”

Because Jesus does. He’s not looking for polished. Hes just asking for the prodigal to return.

SAVE THIS for the next time you have a hard day! SAVE THIS for the next time you have a hard day!

As a Christian author and speaker, the more I walk with women through grief, anxiety, and overwhelming seasons, the more I realize the strongest faith isn’t built by doing more.

Jesus already did it all.

The Holy Spirit can work with the smallest of Faith. (Like a mustard seed) and simple faith rhythms often make the biggest difference when you’re walking through seasons that you struggle to open your Bible, go to churches or even pray. Here are just a few that worked for me:

- Leave your Bible open in a high traffic spot (like the kitchen counter.) You’re more inclined to read a verse or two.
- Play worship music in the car or while you take a shower. (You don’t have to talk, but you’re taking in words that point you to Jesus.)
- Pray or read a devo while you make your coffee. (It take a a minute to brew so spend that time chatting with Jesus. Even if it is messy!)

The stories we would tell if we got honest about w The stories we would tell if we got honest about what prayer actually sounds like.

Who said prayers had to be happy?

Idk about you, but walking through my hardest seasons I wasn’t all “Oh thanks so much Jesus.” “You’re using this for good.” “Oh, you’re so kind.”

If we’re being honest, walking through trauma, grief, and hard seasons on our heart and minds can lead us to messy prayers.

To crying, to screaming, to yelling in frustration.

And acting like that doesn’t happen or doesn’t make you a a”good Christian” if you that isn’t okay.

Jesus already knows what’s on our hearts. So lay it at His feet. Break down. Fall apart. And when it’s all over Jesus is right there to put us back together in His image and through His grace and love.

Friend, wherever you are in your hard season, know that Jesus is there ready and willing to comfort you.

Open your Bible, just talk out loud, and know Jesus loves you. (Even though it probably doesn’t feel like it.)

🫶🏻Follow along if you’re looking for authentic Christian encouragement.
