I’m Faith, a silent-laughing mom of two babies under three.

After admitting I had PPD, I  looked around and realized God gave us an incredible life and we might as well go live it to the fullest; imperfections and all.

 This blog is all about living life, experiencing motherhood, and loving your imperfections, while thanking God throughout the entire journey.

Here you’ll find encouragement on mental health issues such as: Postpartum Depression and Anxiety, Overwhelm, Shame, and Mom Guilt.

Dear friend, may we pull the lens out. This world will never be Heaven. There is going to be sin. This is not our Home. Our savior is not found in the White House… Our hope is found in Jesus. Rest in Him. Rest in His promises. There is still goodness. There are still laughs and joys. Don’t let Satan pull you in and make you lose your hope. Jesus is King. Friend, emotions aren’t bad or meant to be scary. I remember my therapist telling me, “Faith, you don’t want no anxiety. Some anxiety- in the correct situations- could protect you.” Emotions aren’t sinful, but how we react because of those emotions can be. For example: Anger isn’t sinful. Punching someone because you’re angry is. A major step in our healing journey is naming our emotions. Name them, recognize them, and respond to them in a healthy way. Now, friend, may this be your gentle reminder that it only takes a small step here and a small step there to one day change your lifestyle. We started with 10 minutes a day, no matter what. (Unless it was unsafe due to weather) A few years later and I’m pretty sure we spend more time outside than inside. 😂 Our kids first pick is an outside activity, not inside. But it took intentional actions to get there. So don’t fret if it’s not what you want right now. Keep going! Currently, I’m putting together a PDF our favorite activities to do outside.
